Volunteering at CWEE is incredibly rewarding. I had no idea what to expect when I started, but from the moment I walked into the building I was met with such warmth and appreciation. As I met each job seeker I noticed they were all ready to get back into the work force, but were apprehensive about the process. When I work with a participant and help them with their resume I feel it empowers them and gives them the confidence they need to start their job search. I am really proud to be part of CWEE's efforts in helping each participant reach their full potential.

One of the highlights of my year is taking pictures of the women and men of CWEE. Each one is inspirational, hard working, and has had to overcome great obstacles in life to be where they are today. Their stories are incredibly moving, and it is a privilege to be able to capture them at home and at work. I have the utmost respect and admiration for the graduates of this program, and especially the Alumni Award Winners.
