DENVER – SEPTEMBER 2010 – The Center for Work Education and Employment (CWEE) and KeyBank Foundation are proud to announce Keys to Employment, a community partnership supported by a three-year grant. The grant will support CWEE’s employment programs and participants.
The grant, effective immediately and given for a total amount of $30,000 over three years, will assist in mentoring and guiding low-income CWEE participants through education, skills training and finding and retaining employment. The KeyBank Foundation is a nonprofit charitable foundation funded by KeyCorp.
"I am impressed with KeyBank’s deep level of community commitment,” said Laurie Harvey, executive director at CWEE. “They are providing CWEE with much needed grant funds and are also encouraging their employees to volunteer with our organization."
Keys to Employment specifically supports CWEE participants in the final two stages of the program: finding and keeping employment. KeyBank Foundation funding and KeyBank employee volunteer support will include:
