CWEE has three employment specialists dedicated to guiding participants through searching for employment. Participants are exposed to job-search strategies and networking opportunities. Participants look for employment in the community, at job fairs and online.

Our employment services department provides job search support in one-on-one and group settings to help participants refine professional resumes, cover letters and develop job search strategies. Employer expectations are demonstrated as employers come on-site to conduct mock interviews, from which each participant receives business-oriented feedback. CWEE has organized on-site career fairs, by successfully turning the tables on a traditional job fair, in which participants set up booths to market themselves to a range of employers. Many participants accept internships to receive hands-on training and experience in various industries to build confidence and obtain professional references. Occasionally, internships have the opportunity to become full-time employment.
