Board of Directors Statement:
I am proud to be associated with an organization of such strength and character as CWEE. We are very fortunate to have the passionate and dedicated leadership of our Executive Director, Laurie Harvey. Laurie's commitment and vision and the capabilities of our staff are the core strengths of CWEE.
Over the years, the board has been focused on steps to further strengthen CWEE's financial position, including: In 2002, CWEE purchased its office and classroom space, putting almost $1,000,000 of equity on CWEE's balance sheet. Owning CWEE's home is an important investment in CWEE's future. In 2005, we began an endowment with $200,000. Finally, in cash reserves, we have over $300,000.
As a not-for-profit organization, CWEE relies on funding from various resources that include individual donors, corporations, foundations and government agencies. We can do even more with your investment. With your help, we can continue our efforts to further CWEE's positive direction and touch more lives in metro Denver.
