I moved to Colorado from Minnesota in 2011, and am so happy to be a part of the CWEE team. After receiving my bachelor’s degree in Religion and Biomedical Studies, I lived in Zambia for two years through the Peace Corps, where I worked to develop the capacity of rural health education groups to address healthcare needs within the community. Prior to moving to Denver, I worked in Minneapolis as an Employment Facilitator for refugees from east Africa. I am always impressed by the strength and ability of individuals to overcome adversity, and love empowering people to realize their unique skills and build confidence to achieve their goals.
I love to run, bike, ski, travel, read, camp and spend as much time outdoors as possible. I look forward to the time when I can become a true Coloradan and get a dog.
