what we do

Since CWEE’s inception in 1982, our mission has been to provide realistic programs to help low-income single parents develop and expand the skills and confidence necessary to obtain continuous, meaningful employment and career advancement. With this mission, we have empowered almost 10,000 participants. CWEE’s job-readiness programs offer well-rounded, individualized services to provide the assistance and support necessary for job candidates in the Denver Metro area to become self-sufficient.
 

Goals:
CWEE management and staff created a work plan with goals focusing on program efficiency, systems, fundraising, marketing and culture. The goals articulated in CWEE’s fiscal year 2010 Work Plan are:

  • Increase program efficiency and outcomes
  • Strengthen CWEE infrastructure and systems
  • Diversify and grow the funding base
  • Improve visibility, branding, and marketing
  • Foster and promote a CWEE culture that reflects our values and mission.
