Founded in 1982, CWEE fosters personal and professional transformation for low-income families through confidence building, customized skills training, and career advancement. CWEE has a long history of expertise and knowledge in the field of workforce development and is leading Colorado in overcoming the constraints and disparities of poverty, cultivating self-supporting families and optimizing collaborative partnerships.
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Adult Education Instructor teaches blended (ABE/ASE/HSE Prep) classes full-time within an embedded setting at CWEE, an integrated education and employment program that includes comprehensive services to help individuals sustain long-term employment. The Instructor plans, develops, and implements the Adult Basic and Secondary Education program curriculum. The Instructor provides information to learners about the three HSE exams, GED, HiSET, and TASC, and prepares them to pass those exams and transition on to the next step in their career pathway.
